  Rude, aggressive, insulting!
  
  Avoid YCP, or at least avoid the owner(John). Without his salesman (Peter), I doubt he’d have a business. I can’t recall any other situation in my life where as a customer I have been insulted as much, and all because I dared to turn up at their garage with a less than immaculate 12 year old Porsche for part exchange. John the owner of the dealership ranted aggressively at me at the state of the bodywork of my car. I am not saying that anything he said was untrue, but any normal person would’ve spoken to a customer with some respect and in a calm manner.
  He took my car for a test drive without even asking/telling me he was going to.
  He did not seem to understand that as a customer I might want to negotiate on the price. When I started my offer at £5k below the asking price I thought he was going to blow a gasket! The cars at YCP maybe priced low, but YCP expect you to pay the asking price. I expected to be able to negotiate as you would be able to anywhere else. I did increase my offer to £1k below asking price, but John had already decided that no matter what my offer was he was going to refuse to accept it.
  Within hours of my visit to YCP they put an extra £2k on the asking price of the car.
  If I had not driven for 4 hours to view the exact spec Porsche I was looking for at a good price, I would’ve told the owner to stick it after 5 mins.
  Overall, the most unprofessional attitude I have ever encountered.
  Class cars, owner with no class.
  2 days later I bought a car with the same spec, 5k less miles, 1 year newer for the same price as I offered YCP, but from a friendly dealer. They were also happy to accept my car for part ex.
